Pacers Fall to Bucks Despite Leading NBA in Scoring During Regular Season
Pacers' Low Point Total and Field-Goal Percentage Doom Them in Loss

The Indiana Pacers, who led the NBA with 1233 points per game during the regular season, posted their lowest point total and field-goal percentage of the season in a 114-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. The Pacers shot just 39.6% from the field and made only 9 of 33 three-pointers, while the Bucks shot 47.5% from the field and made 15 of 36 three-pointers.
The Pacers weathered the storm of three-pointers from the Bucks though, chipping away and then snatching away the lead in the fourth quarter. However, the Bucks regained the lead for good with just over four minutes remaining, and the Pacers were unable to recover.
Domantas Sabonis led the Pacers with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Malcolm Brogdon added 20 points and 6 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 30 points and 17 rebounds, while Khris Middleton added 22 points and 7 assists.
With the loss, the Pacers fall to 2-2 on the season, while the Bucks improve to 3-1. The Pacers will next play on Friday night when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the Bucks will next play on Wednesday night when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.
