Republic Bank Partners with MIATD to Train Paramin Farmers

Republic Bank has partnered with the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries (MIATD) to launch a training program aimed at empowering farmers in the Paramin community. The program, which is part of Republic Bank's ongoing commitment to supporting agriculture in Trinidad and Tobago, aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of Paramin farmers, enabling them to increase productivity and improve their livelihoods.
About the Training Program
The training program will include modules on crop cultivation, livestock management, financial literacy, and marketing. It will be delivered by a team of experienced trainers from MIATD and Republic Bank's Social Investment team. The program was designed based on the specific needs and challenges faced by Paramin farmers, identified through consultations with the community.
